The first step is for you to set up a brief phone interview by calling 657-229-0776, emailing info@resultpsychiatry.com, or clicking the "Book" button for the initial screening phone interview under the services section of our website. There is no charge for the initial phone call which will include a brief assessment of your concerns and provide you the opportunity to ask me questions. If we both feel that the practice will be a good fit for your needs, we will then schedule your initial intake consultation. You will be sent a new patient packet via secured email for you to complete and send back prior to your first session. 

Regular hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, holidays excluded. As a telepsychiatry practice, we are able to accommodate almost every schedule.

The initial intake fee is $400 for a sixty minute assessment/evaluation (regardless of whether it is for therapy, medications or both), $500 for a 60 minute therapy session with or without medication management, and $200 for a 30 minute medication management only session. Any other professional services that require longer than 10 minutes such as report writing, telephone conversations, preparation of treatment summaries, court proceedings, or time spent performing any other services you may request will be charged $100 for each 10-minute increment.

We do not accept insurance, nor do we accept Medicare or Medi-Cal. However, we will supply you with an invoice (superbill) that you can submit to PPO insurance plans for "out of network" coverage reimbursement. You may call your insurance company to receive an estimate of how much you will be reimbursed for our services after meeting your deductible. With medical care driven by health insurance companies, often the patient ends up paying more and receiving less quality care. Without the burden of insurance companies, my patients and I decide on the length and frequency of appointments, which means more time and better quality care than you may have experienced in the past. Additionally, I am able to accommodate new patients much sooner than the insurance driven practices that have months long waiting lists.

Telepsychiatry uses secure videoconferencing technology that enables you to access psychiatric care regardless of where you are located. You are able to meet with Dr. Hariri as long as you have reliable internet connection and access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Dr. Hariri offers telepsychiatry services using secure, encrypted, HIPAA-compliant private video meetings. Dr. Hariri believes that patients should be able to obtain their psychiatric care in the most convenient and accessible way possible. Services through telepsychiatry are similar to in-office care, with the benefit of accessing Dr. Hariri from the convenience of your home. You will be receiving communication via encrypted email, laboratory orders and results are online, and prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy.

Numerous studies have shown that telepsychiatry clinical outcomes are equivalent to in-person office visits. Furthermore, Dr. Hariri has extensive experience providing telepsychiatry care in multiple practice settings. At Result Psychiatry, we use HIPAA compliant video software and HIPAA compliant electronic medical records that is confidential and private.

Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is often used alone or in combination with medication to optimize your treatment plan. In most cases, Dr. Hariri provides supportive, psychoanalytic psychotherapy which focuses on stressors, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that negatively impact mental health. You may also continue to see your current therapist if you already have one, as Dr. Hariri often works with outside therapists in the community to help meet your treatment goals.
